Vinayanjali Program

The Vinayanjali program commemorating the second-year Punyasmruti (memorial service) of the late Paramapujya Jagadguru Karmayogi Charukeerthi Bhattaraka Swamiji, the revered former pontiff of Sri Kshetra Shravanabelagola Dakshincharya Peetha, was observed with devotion at Nishidhi Betta in Shravanabelagola.

As part of the tribute, a special Pada Puja (ritual worship of the feet), Pushparchane (flower offerings), and Abhisheka were performed at the Nishidhi Mantapa where the Swamiji’s Charana Paduka (sacred footprints) are enshrined.

Additionally, during this occasion, the Nishidhi Betta of the former Bhattaraka was officially renamed as “Charugiri”.
